Model Call!

Who I am: I am Fiona, a practicing doula, a trained midwife, and lover of birth. I recently trained with Birth Becomes You to become a professional birth photographer. In order to gain experience and to build a portfolio, I am looking to photograph a few births at a discounted rate.

Who you are: You live within an hour drive of Portland, ME. You’re pregnant and due in December or January. You like the idea of documenting your labor, birth, and first moments with your baby, and are willing and excited to have your images used in my portfolio. Eventually I will charge $1800 + for this service (which includes being on call 24/7 for up to 5 weeks, attendance at your birth from active labor to 2 hours postpartum, and a full gallery of 100+ hand edited images shared via a private gallery within a few weeks of your birth, with full access to downloads and a print release.

For these model call births, I am charging 1/3 of the full price. This deeply discounted experience is in exchange for you signing a photo release that I may use your photos in my portfolio, on my website, social media, print, etc.

Of course, these will be your photos. If, for whatever reason, you change your mind after the birth and are not comfortable with some of the photos being shared, I will absolutely respect your choice.
